Our Contract


THIS DOCUMENT FORMS A CONTRACT BETWEEN CLEAN HOMES AND THE CLIENT.

The cleaner will be paid cash £             per hr X           hrs = £                per week/visit on the day of cleaning, please ensure the correct money is left every week.

Clean Homes will be paid £             per hr X           hrs = £                X 52/26 weeks =
£             :12 = £             + 17.5% VAT £              = TOTAL PER MONTH £
by standing order on the same day the following month as their first clean. The first payment is made by cheque, which will not be banked and the standing order will not be set up until you have had your first clean and we know you are happy. These hours are fully negotiable at any time. (Minimum 2 hours a fortnight.)

Clients are required to give one month as notice unless they are unhappy with the service in which case a refund will be given for any monies paid in advance.

All the cleaners have individual insurance up to 1,000,000. The excess of 250 will be paid by Clean Homes Ltd. Please note ironing/washing is undertaken at the clients own risk. Personal injury claims are individual and cover depends on fault, clients should ensure they have cover within their home contents insurance to cover all contingencies.

Clean Homes Ltd does not supply any equipment or materials, these are to be supplied by the client.

When a cleaner takes a holiday then we will provide a stand in, please make sure to notify Clean Homes if this is required. If your cleaner is sick she may arrange a different time to clean if this is not possible the client must contact Clean Homes Ltd within 24hrs to arrange a stand in, otherwise we might not have sufficient time to offer a replacement. If you decide not to have a replacement you do not pay the cleaner but you do pay Clean Homes. If we are unable to supply a cleaner then the charges for that week will be refunded. Please note if you are offered a reasonable alternative day/time that is unacceptable to you we can not offer a refund, we do try our best to accommodate clients but it is not always possible.

If you go on holiday you can choose to have the cleaner come in while you are away and perhaps do some extra jobs to her normal routine or you may decide you don't want a cleaner for this time. In this instance you don't pay the cleaner but you do pay Clean Homes Ltd.

If the cleaner can not obtain access through no fault of her own or if the client cancels with less then 48hrs notice they are still obliged to pay the cleaner.

We will contact you after your first clean to check you are happy and one/two months later to ensure everything is continuing satisfactorily. If at any time you are unhappy with your cleaner we will replace them.

Clean Homes aims to supply the client with one regular cleaner however, cleaners do leave in which case we would supply you with a new cleaner, this can occur a number of times, we do try our best to minimise it happening but it is largely out of our control.
